FORT LAUDERDALE — A search is underway for a cruise ship crewmember who went overboard while the vessel was still at sea before docking in South Florida this weekend. After the Coast Guard officials suspended the search on Thursday Sept. 7, Carnival officials told USA Today that Miami-Dade police cleared the Carnival Conquest to sail and said the Carnival Care Team is supporting the family. Ship staff and security searched the ship but were unsuccessful, Miami-Dade Police Department officials reported after Kevin McGrath disappeared.
